Blythe Grossberg, formerly a career counselor at Rutgers University, has served as a business consultant and corporate trainer. Before receiving her PsyD in organizational psychology from Rutgers, she worked on the editorial staffs of Scribner, the New Yorker and Frommer’s travel guides. She has written for several magazines and travel guides, including Travel and Leisure Family, Boston Magazine and Let’s Go: Rome. Blythe graduated from Harvard with a BA in history and literature.
Tim Haft is the author of Trashproof Resumes (Random House) and Job Notes: Resumes (Random House). Tim served as a career counselor at New York University for seven years, where he designed and delivered workshops on resume writing, job search, career decision-making and interviewing. He also has substantial experience in book publishing and new media. Tim holds an MA in sociology from New York University and a BA in history from the University of Virginia.
Angie Temming has more than 15 years of experience coaching candidates, developing career-related resources and presenting seminars on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and salary negotiation. After advising MBA’s for five years and teaching a career management course at St. John’s University, Angie moved into her current role at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a non-profit dedicated to positioning minorities for competitive business careers and MBA programs. Angie also worked in New York University’s Office of Career Services and for a Chicago-based investor relations firm. She has lived, worked and traveled extensively abroad and has been teaching fitness for more than a decade! Angie earned a BA in political science from Miami University and an MA in Higher Education from New York University.
Joseph Terach is a nationally recognized expert on resume development with more than 15 years’ experience as a career consultant and education advisor. He has designed and delivered a range of highly interactive seminars on resume and cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile development, interviewing, networking, salary negotiation and job search strategy at Credit Suisse, The Zicklin School of Business, New York University and a range of other corporations, universities, associations and talent agencies. His unique seminar titles include “LeBron James’s Resume,” “Mock Job Fair” and “Professional Pitch Contest” (it’s like American Idol). Joseph’s advice on resume development has been featured on prominent career sites, including Monster and Flex Jobs. His media credits include The CBS Early Show, ABC Eyewitness News, The New York Times, New York Newsday and Blog Talk Radio. He is also co-author of “Crane’s Guide to Writing an Effective Resume” (Crane & Company, Inc.). Joseph holds an MA in counseling and a BA in psychology and English, both from New York University.
Alex Twersky acquired much of his expertise in international marketing, business development, consulting, content development and licensing at Scholastic, a $2 billion education/media company. Alex is the author of Random House’s Instant Scholar guides to Art and Literature and co-author of Crane’s Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc.). He received his BS in marketing and international business from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
